This program was designed to help Kansas librarians document and market their career development. The program is open to administrative personnel in all Kansas libraries. Library administrators are certified at one of four levels based on their educational accomplishments. Complete information is available in the program guide.
This program is intended to enhance library service for all Kansans through the development of knowledgeable public library trustees. Trustees receive initial certification upon completion of one hour of training in each of 5 core skills designated in the program. See "Training Materials for Trustee Core Skills" for details about the 5 core skills. The table of contents for the program is available on WebJunction Kansas.
