Kansas Fact of the Month
April Census 2010 is coming in just one year. The decennial census is a huge undertaking, it has been called the largest non-military mobilization of people. To date, the Census Bureau has hired over 1,300 people in Kansas alone. Nationwide, over $300,000,000 in federal money is allocated based on Census figures each year. All people residing in the United States must be counted, regardless of age, race or citizenship.
