Network Board Allocates $62,467 in ILDP Funds

For FY 2005, the Network Board's invitation for Interlibrary Loan Development Program (ILDP) grant proposals prompted 56 applications, totaling $100,214. Due to current state budget considerations, the Network Board had $62,467 to award in ILDP funds for fiscal year 2005, or about 15% less than in fiscal year 2004. At its August meeting, the Board approved 32 of the proposals received for a total of $58,753, as listed below. The Network Board also set aside $3,653 ILDP funds for the purchase of netLibrary ebooks, to be accessed by Kansas residents by means of the Kansas Library Card. The remaining $61 will be placed on deposit with BCR for future purchase of additional ebooks.
