Interlibrary Loan Development Program
MISSION
The mission of the ILDP is to facilitate resource sharing and provide access to all types of library resources for residents of Kansas by supporting the purchase and delivery of materials.

Future of ILDP
A Resource Sharing Work Group will be named in January 2009, charged with recommending new programs that continue to provide outstanding library service to Kansans.
Any new programs should:
- include all types of libraries
- be geographically neutral
- emphasize equal access throughout the state
- utilize available technologies
- focus on the end user
A Courier Work Group has been named and work has begun to develop a statewide courier service, set to start July 1, 2009.
The Interlibrary Loan Development Program will phase out its competitive grant program and the grants to Resource Libraries by July 1, 2010.
